Baca translated from the Hebrew means "weeping". Psalm 84:6-7 says, "As they pass through the valley of Baca, they make it a spring. The rain also covers it with pools. They go from strength to strength; every one of them appears before God in Zion."
Baca represents not only a place of brokenness and true humility before Almighty God, but also a place where the provision of God was made manifest so that the one in need of being refreshed or revived was strengthened and encouraged to continue through life's challenges to reach the heart of God. This ministry will be a place of refreshing for many who in their journey to experience the fullness of God are at dry places, but through this ministry God will cause the dry place to be a river of pools (blessings). We believe that as we worship Jesus in a spirit of brokenness and reverence, that Almighty God will manifest His glory and He alone will be honored, exalted, adored, praised and magnified.
According to Daniel 11:32b, "But the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits." Therefore God has called this ministry to teach families the importance of abiding in the manifest presence of God. To understand that their hearts must be established on pilgrimage which is a determination and diligence to pursue and seek our God until we appear before Him. As we spend time in God's presence, we will become perfected in God's love (agape) thus producing a body of believers who are strong in faith, above reproach in character, while also demonstrating trust and confidence in the power and Word of our great God and Savior. We will truly then fulfill the Great Commission as disciples are made of all men and the Kingdom of God is advanced, thus affecting our homes, communities, cities and eventually the whole world. Through preaching and teaching the infallibility of the scriptures and the principles thereof, men, women and children will learn to worship God in spirit and truth. Through the application of these principles, the overflow of God's presence will be seen in their everyday life allowing Him to impact and draw those that through His foreknowledge have been predestined to be a part of His Kingdom.
Baca Christian Center is truly an end-time ministry called by God to be a place of refuge, encouragement and change for the people that God would send to be a part of this vision. There is a harvest of souls that God is drawing by His Spirit in this hour and for this cause, we take our place in the body of Christ to fulfill our purpose. As we give the people Jesus, He will cause Himself to be clearly seen to each one that would diligently seek Him. And yes, when He does appear, we will seek His heart and not His hand. For we know that His hand moves effectively and accomplishes purpose. But if we find His heart in worship, we have embraced something everlasting. God will make an imprint on our hearts that is both undeniable and real.
In this place, God will cause His house to be fully restored. All that has been lost in past hurts, failures, and discouragements in life, God Himself will bring healing and restoration. Praise, worship and earnest prayer shall be continually offered unto Him ushering in His manifest presence and all of His Glory. So arise, shine, for your light has come and the glory of the Lord is Risen Upon Us!
